Services

The Makers Gallery offers much more than your typical furniture gallery.

Custom Design Services

Collaborate with some of the region’s finest makers.
Bring your vision to life through bespoke furniture and millwork, designed and built in partnership with the talented artists represented at Makers Gallery. Clients are invited to meet one-on-one with artists in our design space to discuss materials, dimensions, finishes, and functional needs. Whether you’re furnishing a home, creating a statement piece, or seeking thoughtful design consultation, our custom design service connects you with craftspeople who will help you shape your ideas into enduring works of art.

Workshops & Classes

Learn the craft. Find your voice.
Our classes are led by gallery artists and guest instructors, offering hands-on education in woodworking, design, and fine craft. Courses range from introductory sessions to advanced technical intensives, with new offerings posted regularly. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Workshops are open to the public and take place in our gallery and partner spaces. Join a scheduled class or explore one of our expanded offerings on our ‘Classes’ page.

Private Instruction

Learn at your own pace.
Looking to expand your skills? Makers Gallery offers private instruction from experienced artists across a range of disciplines—from furniture making and joinery to surface finishing and design techniques. Sessions are tailored to your skill level and goals, and scheduled at your convenience.

Community Events

Meet the makers, celebrate the process.
We host a rotating calendar of casual, inclusive events where guests can interact with the artists behind the work. From First Friday openings and artist talks to seasonal showcases, these gatherings foster authentic connection and provide behind-the-scenes insight into the making process.

Gallery Collaborations

Where craftsmanship meets creative vision.
At Makers Gallery, we believe the most exciting work happens at the intersection of disciplines. Through our Artist Collaboration program, we partner with painters, ceramicists, textile designers, and other local creatives to co-develop limited-edition furniture and home goods that push the boundaries of functional art.
